Mine does the same thing, she didn't start it until a few months back. She sleeps at the foot of the bed and if I happen to turn in my sleep and touch her she will growl and try to bite my foot. That wakes me up in a hurry, lol. I think they are just sleeping so soundly that the touch scares them. Willow will settle right back down and is ok as soon as she knows it is just me.
