Just wanted to give a quick update on Piper Girl. She has had good checkups with the vet. She goes to the specialist Friday for her Annual check-up so we can continue to get her medicines prescribed. She had 4 very beautiful/healthy puppies who are now 7 weeks old. They are all going to loving homes of either family and friends who know the issues with Piper. After the trip to the specialist we will re-run all her blood work and bile acid and get her schedule for her Spay and 2 baby teeth removed.

Yes. Gonna be hard letting them go. But, Peanut will be going to my mother, Barkley goes to my Aunt, Diamond will go home with a friend/co-worker and Tucker will go home with the daughter of a childhood friend. So I will be able to watch them grow with their new families.

Piper is adorable, and so are the pups. Thanks for posting, Piper has gone through so much, and it is good to see that she is doing so well now. It is so nice that the pups will be close so you can watch them grow up. Enjoy.

Is she no longer going to have the liver biopsy done? You had mentioned it previously as the specialist had recommended it.

Happy all is well as far as looking at her and the pups. Praying their new homes will have them checked out thoroughly prior to having issues. I personally would suggest the owners have BATs done on each of them.

Mommy and babies are all beautiful!
I don't think I could let any of them go.......without screaming and crying but it is wonderful they will be so close.

Wow, they are all really cute - what are they mixed with? I almost see some chi in them...?

I hope Piper is doing well, and am glad to hear she is getting some things taken care of.
