Help!! Been wanting a Yorkie for so long

I once took a dog in where I was her 4th home and she worked out very well with us. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 homes for a dog to end up in their forever home. It is sad, but sometimes it works so great once they find the right home.

If you can say yes to finances and have the best vet, I say, look at the dog, then follow your heart. He's a little cutie and will go fast at $140. Good luck in you decision.

AKC papers can be acquired by anyone with AKC registered dogs with full registration rights on both of the parents, they honestly mean nothing as to where the puppies come from and have zero value to anyone not planning to breed or maybe show. Never think that the AKC label means quality, also, its possible for someone to have two puppies and declare that they have four or to have puppies die in the litter and they can totally pass those extra/unused papers off with a completely unrelated pup that could possibly be mixed....

I vote yes. The agreement about the vet check up is a good idea though. Good luck. I'm rooting for the little guy.

To be honest, I've never had AKC papers on any of my yorkies. I didn't plan on breeding them or showing them so those papers weren't really important to me. Health and behavior were important to me. But then again, I am someone who has taken in strays and understand the risks. He will be snatched up rather quickly so don't let the fact that there's no papers stop you.
