When we knew we were going to get Sophie we purchased one of the pens you mention and the first time we put her in she climbed to the top and was just about ready to jump over when we caught her. Now Sophie was only 2 lbs at the time she I would suggest not to leave them unattended until you know how they are going to react to this pen. It is a very good product to use if you are going to be close but test it first. Sophie is now 18 months old and behaves much better when in it but I still will not leave her unattended. She is a little toot and too smart for her own good.

Am I ever fortunate after reading about all your little acrobats that my Joey does not want to or cannot climb out of his pen. He can barely jump out of the door when I open it to let him out and that is close to the ground. When he was a baby he jumped off of our back porch and it must have scared him because he has never done that again. Thankfully he did not get hurt and my heart stopped till I saw he was okay. He does not jump on anything. That would stop your heart to see their antics. Fearless terriers.

I didn't know that the one I have is an Iris pen, lol. But I got one for Sunni and its perfect. She goes in there on her own all the time, and the flaps will zip up on sides and the top….Shes also an escape artist, so if I'm going to be distracted I sometimes do have to tie the zips on the side flaps together so she can't open them
