This test is *unproven* at this point in time. It is not *proven* for its validity or *lack thereof*.
I don't see the distinction you're making. Sorry. My research? I don't do research but my vet derm does and doesn't think the test has merit. Semantics aside, that's my opinion and I'd like to express it how I want, not how you want.

I merely posted on phraseology and not indicated that you must post this way. And I stated you do have a choice on how you phrase things.


Unproven is quite different to saying this or any other test is a *scam and that is not semantics.

I had to go back over this entire thread to see who called the test a scam. The only person that called the test a scam was Taylor.

Gail you're following my posts and acting like my mother, that's what I meant. I am intelligent enough to sort through "phreaseology" and verbiage and word choice. I'm sorry if you don't like my usage of the English language. Or my views on this or any other topic. I don't know what else to say about that. But it feels like you are scolding me and I don't do that to you so would appreciate if you could refrain from that kind of "mother henning" -- that's what I meant.

I did get the research paper and will read it soon. Thanks for sending it along.

How long should a test be marketed before it is peer reviewed and validated by others? There are many people who have spent the money to test with no results or false results. Should the length of time be one year, 3 years, 5 years? From what I have been able to search it looks like the test has been around for at least 5-6 years and is only supported by Dr. Dodd's independent laboratory in CA.

The way people pick one wording is just ridiculous. I personaly feel it is a scam to rake in more money and take advantage of people who love there's dogs and are looking for a miracle, that is my opinion and I will not apologize for it or reword it. The stuff I have read about the test and the group of vets lead me to that. You can not like my opinion but I will still say it. If you wanted to do something for the good of dogs you would do it right and certainly have science to back it up before releasing it.

This post is nit picking how someone is writing. Telling people how to post is the best and biggest way to start drama and isn't nessisary.

Aren't you doing the same - nit picking gemy's writing? And truly, what's wrong with you or gemy nit picking if it's asking for explanations or facts or research to back up a point made and not done in a mean, hostile manner, then it's not harmful, is it? Seems like there are a lot of questions about why some people follow this or that treatment and everyone is just questioning sources, studies, any research or empirical results some might have.
