I do want to say my vet doesn't push crap. She gives me opinions and her opinions and when there was something unsure about she went in the back got me a bottle of water and went and looked it up. I trust my vet immensely. I told her I didn't want the Lyme vaccine no fight not argument just a simple ok. She gave me several options when dealing with Callie's IBD. She listens to me and takes time to explain stuff. My grandmother is leery of every single doctor and I have to tell you that's not a way to live. Obviously there are bad and evil people in everything that people are in but most doctors, vets and so on are there to help people and dogs. I worry more about the bigger names out there who get a taste of the money and get money hungry. |

This test is unproven... there is no scientific proof to back up this test - nor is there scientific proof to say it is useless. That is or what appears to be the fact of the matter. Ascribing greed and deliberate bilking of the public to Dr Dodds because of this test is quite a leap. No-one has any idea of her intentions when she released this test to the public - although I personally don't understand why she did that. I can speculate as I did earlier. On another note testimonials and clinical experience while weak, does not mean there is no validity in saying I took this test - followed the results of said test - and got better. The fact remains there is much more to learn about the human and canine body than is known right now - and there are many treatment practices that are developed based on clinical experience and best practices that have no science back up - because we don't have the scientific back up yet - but what is a doctor to do? they use their experience, judgement and the combined knowledge of their field. Or Not treat at all because there are not 1000 -peer reviewed studies to justify their course of treatment? We have exhaustively made the point that there is no science to back this test up. So BUYER BEWARE. |

Actually, the people in the field are not close minded at all....they just rely on real scientific evidence. If someone told you that arsenic was the new magical cure would you use it? Of course not, so why would you believe anything without scientific proof? |

Her recommendation that the Nutriscan test be performed once a year at $280 a pop suggests that it is a moneymaking scam. |
