| Wipes I've read some people use baby wipes rather than doggie wipes because of pricing. Could I use a baby wipe solution as I would rather use washable baby wipes and make my own solution? Thanks, Busters Mom |

| I also went from doggie wipes to baby wipes. I think as long as you find a recipe that mimics "non-scented" and/or "for sensitive skin", you should be fine to use your own. |

| Wipes Thanks for the info. Would you know if you shave them, does it change their coats? |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I use Huggies natural wipes. They are cheaper then the dog ones. And no fragrance

| Baby wipes are perfectly fine. I have also done a freshen up by using a damp wash cloth over the dog then rubbing with a dryer sheet over the damp dog. They dry and smell like fresh laundry (depending on what kind of dryer sheets you use can smell soooooo good)

| I've been using baby wipes for years now. I love them and they work Great. I get a big box of Huggies natural unscented wipes at Costco for like $10 and it lasts for about 6-7 months.

| Great info about the dryer sheets! I never knew about them being a danger to cats and dogs!! I was actually told by a vet I used years ago, that if my dogs were shivering during a thunderstorm to rub dryer sheets all over the fur, to stop the static electricity which is what they react to..I thought I was being kind, and I was doing something dangerous…ugh!! I've been using baby wipes on my dogs for years too. Mainly just around the bum area, but always a warm wet soapless washcloth around they eyes. I just had to be ultra careful with my dogs eyes because I had one who had a terrible eye problem. Keeping them clean was a high priority, but irritating them with anything would tend to cause him serious eye infections. |
