Great info about the dryer sheets! I never knew about them being a danger to cats and dogs!! I was actually told by a vet I used years ago, that if my dogs were shivering during a thunderstorm to rub dryer sheets all over the fur, to stop the static electricity which is what they react to..I thought I was being kind, and I was doing something dangerous…ugh!!

I've been using baby wipes on my dogs for years too. Mainly just around the bum area, but always a warm wet soapless washcloth around they eyes. I just had to be ultra careful with my dogs eyes because I had one who had a terrible eye problem. Keeping them clean was a high priority, but irritating them with anything would tend to cause him serious eye infections.
