| Wellness food concern Anyone feed their babies wellness? At this time it seems my concern is with the Wellness Adult healthy weight... All of a sudden I have a house of sick dogs, either diarrhea or vomiting. Anyone else with any issues?? Dr says may be something thats in the air, but its a domino affect here with 5 out of 9 sick. Id like to hear feedback & hope its not something in the food that can make them sicker. Just feels like when one seems to get better & they get back on the wellness it starts all over again. (I have been feeding a bland diet for about 48 hrs & when they are better go back to the dry food)

| Wellness I did have that problem with Wellness some time ago. The kibble looked quite different in the new bag. No reason given by Wellness. I stopped using after that. I really believe that bad quality control does result in bags being different. Might not be bad ingredients, but perhaps different ones that offend the dogs' GI systems? Hope your dogs get better soon. |

I just read the second part of your post. It could be that 48 hours on the bland diet isn't enough time for them to get whatever it is they have out of their systems, and the Wellness is irritating their sensitive stomachs? Just in case you have a bad batch of food, you might want to consider getting a fresh bag and try to get a refund for the bag you have been using, and perhaps contacting the company to see if they want you to send them a sample for analysis. You know I noticed the same thing a while ago!! I have been wanting to change their food for a while, but those coupons sure help when you have 9 Yorkies. What are you feeding yours now?! @pstinard- Thanks so much. I have been advised to just do the bland diet along with pepto twice a day if needed. They love being spoiled on this diet but it gets expensive. Thanks for the advice about calling Wellness I will do that now.

| I feed my two the Wellness for small breed, adult, healthy weight. I haven't encountered any issues. How long have you been feeding this to them? Have you ruled out other other causes? It could be one dog got sick and passed it onto the next? Sorry you're going through this and so many of your furbutts are sick. I hope this is just really temporary and everyone get well soon. |

My 3 younger generations have been eating wellness ALL their lives, so about 8 years in grand total. I recently went organic & they LOVE lettuce, so i would give them as a treat when im making my salad some letuce & hubby thinks it couldve been that but we stopped & they are still sick. Seems like pepto works but once i see they stopped throwing up i dont give them anymore & then go back to the dry food, its all over again. Right now its one of my younger ones, the 1st one to get sick. We also had an episode of dirrhea from one of the adults but I think she got sick from her daughters who also had dirhea which we didnt know where it came from, we thought it was from them eating the adult food which I believe is too strong for there sensitive stomachs. So who knows. But thanks.
