| Oh, Lisa, most of us do the same thing, leaving a partially completed post up on our screens, unsubmitted, during interruptions or either just have to say what we have to say on the subject, no matter if we repeat others' ideas and thoughts. And often, I, and maybe at least some others, don't have the desire or ability right then to read an entire thread before posting, so I just post away. Otherwise, we'd likely just be agreeing or disagreeing with any first thoughts on a thread and not enjoy the forum as much as getting to post our thoughts of the moment. I like reading the way each person singularly expresses him or herself, on maybe the same idea or thought, myself.

I have everything on ZoE's. My home address, my cellphone, my parent's home address, their landline and their cellphones, both my kid's cell numbers, and ZoE's vet's address and phone number. I also noted in the add'l info, a sworn statement that I authorize emergency medical care and and assume liability for all costs incurred for such care. Many vets and ERs will not treat "strays/found" animals without guaranteed payment. I'd hate to think if she was lost and injured that she wouldn't be treated. Her chip registry emails me every year and reminds me to update her contact info, which i like, even though it hasn't changed since I've had her. I also have the vet scan her chip at every checkup to make sure it's still scanning.

| And be sure you get a chip that can be internationally scanned, in case your dog is stolen and taken to or you travel with her to another country. I'm glad darling Lola will be getting chipped. Even 1% chance of her getting returned to you if lost or helping to prove your ownership of her is worth getting one.

| YT 2000 Club Donating Member | This is absolutely disgracefull, and for sure deserves all the attention it is getting and more. This will be a landmark case and many important issues are being brought up. But the poor owners without their Piper for a year or more. Disgusting, revolting and atrocious behaviour on both shelters part. Makes you worry about your own dogs. And if they as likely they did spayed this female - a great lawsuit is up and coming! So many legal issues. And I bet if the rescue had simply admitted their error and re-united this dog with their rightfull owners this case would not be in court right now.
