| This will be first for Macy and me Macy and I visit a local nursing home once a week as a therapy dog team. Last week one of the patients that loves to see Macy passed away. Her visitation is tomorrow night and Macy and I are going. I called the funeral home and explained the situation to the funeral director and he was more than willing to let Macy attend the visitation with me. He thought this may bring a little peace to the family. If I sense Macy is getting stressed, we will leave but I think she will handle the situation like a pro.

| What a wonderful thing you and Macy are doing. I'm sure Macy would like to say her last goodbye to her friend too. |

| Thank you. I never thought we would get so attached to the residents. We are the first pet therapy team this nursing home has ever had and the residents are always waiting to see Macy in the activity room. If you have the time and a dog that is calm and loves to be petted, a therapy dog program may be for you. It may be an experience that changes your life.

YT 1000 Club Member | I am sure she will do great at the visitation! It has been a dream of mine to have a therapy dog and do that. I had a candidate for one and she got cancer and got very sick. Good luck and so sorry for your loss.

| What a lovely thing to do. I'm sure the family will be deeply touched. I know anyone in my family would. Very sorry for your loss. |

YT 2000 Club Member | How wonderful you to do this! My poodle, Prissy & I used to visit the nursing home so I know how very much the residents love the dogs and how useful they are to their therapy.
