Macy and I visit a local nursing home once a week as a therapy dog team. Last week one of the patients that loves to see Macy passed away. Her visitation is tomorrow night and Macy and I are going. I called the funeral home and explained the situation to the funeral director and he was more than willing to let Macy attend the visitation with me. He thought this may bring a little peace to the family.

If I sense Macy is getting stressed, we will leave but I think she will handle the situation like a pro.
