				 | I guess we won't be kissing any time soon. When I was a kid my Mon used to give treats to her dog that looked like a chocolate covered pretzel. Even though a real chocolate covered pretzel wouldn't appeal to me, I decided to try one. I closed myself in the pantry so I wouldn't get caught and took a bite. It was so awful tasting I still remember it. Could not get that taste out of my mouth. I have never been tempted to try any dog food since. Lol this is a funny thread.

hahaha I think the only time I tried dog food was when I was 8 - or it may have been cat food? Maybe that's why I like fish so much!! It is all coming together for me, now! | |

				 | [QUOTE=SirTeddykins;4538533]hahaha I think the only time I tried dog food was when I was 8 - or it may have been cat food? Cat food now that's nasty. One time years back, I went to visit a friend that had cats, I took my 3 pack girls with me where ever I went, on this visit my girls ate the cats food. At this time I had 3 picky eater dogs, trying to find one dog food that they all would eat was making me nuts. So on my next shopping trip I got 3 small cans of cat food and fed it to them, they gobbled it up like it was Filet Mignon. Then they came to me for kisses their breath OMG. Never again. Since joining YT I have read it is dangerous to feed cat food to dogs, how did those babies live to be 13 y/o. Maybe it was from the St. Francis medals I keep on all my babies.

				 | I've used ZoE's Minksheen shampoo on accident! I'd diluted it with some distilled water and poured it into an old shampoo pump-style bottle. A few weeks later, running late for work, I accidentally used it. My hair looked great! I even got a compliment from a co-worker! When I told her why, she at first didn't seem believing, until she sniffed my hair. Even though it had great results, I've not done it again as I just couldn't stand the citronella smell that close to my nose all day long.

				 | pup shampoo should be ok to use, and it should be it seems to cost more than the Panteen I use. I have tried on purpose a few of the homemade treats people make for their pets, but yuck most have not tasted good to me. I also on purpose tried some dental wipe and it had so much alcohol or something like that in it I decided not to use it.

				 | Ya'll stop! I'm cracking up at work I have accidentally used doggy shampoo and that was o.k. My furbutts eat Cloud Star buddy biscuits. I keep them in a little sealed container on the counter....right next to the cookie jar. NOw when I bought that container I wrote "dog treats" on top of the container in permanent marker. My hubby started laughing when he saw it. He wanted to know if our daughter had accidentally eaten a dog treat!! LOL

				 | My youngest son (he's 30 now) would hide and eat dog food out of the container we kept it in. He was about 5-6 years old at the time. It must have tasted good to him. He did it a lot
