| How to Cut her Hair??? I was just wondering if anyone else's Yorkie had hair that grew forward in the front? I usually see Yorkie's with the parted hair, but Laila's hair will NEVER part no matter how hard I have tried. It looks like a giant mohawk. Now it is adorable, but I don't think she can see very well. Once I put her hair up she runs around much easier I think. It is almost like she has bangs that float in her eyes. I need to get her a hair cut, but don't know what to do. I hate to put her hair up all the time, but it is confusing when down. Here is a pic from about 2 weeks ago, miss crazy hair! Thanks for any and all advice!

| Hair She is sooo cute - I love the wild look, but you said it looks like she has bangs. You could give her bangs I had mine in bangs for a long time!! I don't know how to put up pics yet but when I get my husband to figure it out for me I could try to find some pics for you. If you take her to a groomer you can just ask them to give her bangs - kind of like a unibrow but a little longer - that way if you decide to leave her hair down she can still see. The hair behind the very front looks like it would at least stay out of her face if the front is trimmed into bangs- and it will still look cute up. Again I say though - she is just too cute!! |

| My little girls hair looks exactly like that too and she wont let me pull it up I try everyday so maybe someday I will succeed but until then I guess either she will just not see or she will have to get it cut.

| Ceeby's is the same way Ceeby's hair is exactly like that. He is only five months old I just figured it was part of the growing process. I want hi to have long hair but I want him to be able to see. He won't let me put his up either. I am afraid he will go blind. |

| you have to train that hair to stay back and it takes lots of combing, lots of time, and sometimes a little hairgel. lol A lot of our customers have us trim their yorkies bangs so they are able to see, but there is still enough hair to put up a small ponytail. Hope that works!

| Yup, she looks a lot like my girl. I am letting her hair grow out for now so I can see what it is like. Silky coats are very easy to care for. If she was a cotton coat we would go witht he puppy cut but I don't think silky hair looks to good that way. (choppy) I finally got her to let me do the pony tail thingy If you can grab a hunk of hair sort of on the back of her head/between ears then add that front hair to the hunk that makes them sit a little more still. |

| By the way, I made you a new "non-christmasy" avatar a week or so ago....in case you missed it: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...&postcount=176 Look at that girl's hair, hehe! She's sooo cute though! Groomers usually trim what comes from the nose but anything above that they will let grow and you can put it up in a topknot. Or you can just cut the hair around the eyes like a little "fan".....but warning if you do that you're stuck for a few months with that fan-hair growing out! We had Sully's "fan" trimmed and now we're trying to grow it back out and the poor little guy can't see! We're at the stage now that it doesn't quite reach the topknot yet, LOL. Hope that helps. I probably just confused you worse with my rambling......

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | LOLOL !! Omgosh - sorry for laughing but she looks like she just had a night from my past ... she is CUTE as a button but yes...she could use a new 'Do"....ever thought of bangs ? or little pig tails till it gets a little longer ? Man she's cute !! You could try a bow a little lower on her head - above her eyes and just pull up enough so she can see...and wait for it to grow more... |

| She is just so totally cute!!!!!!!! I love the way she looks. My little Zoe could be here sister. Her little shirt is precious. Take care, and hope you figure out what to do. Zoe is just under 5 months, and her hair isn't quite that long yet. |

| Don't feel so bad, Nelly will not keep any buckles in either. Here is a picture of her and she also looks terrible with her fur in her eyes but she just will not keep that buckle in. If you look close enough there is a little buckle hanging on the side she rubs her head on her bed and ends up this way. |
