| The dogs need to still be confined for the reason that they aren't potty trained! That is rule #1 when potty training. I think you need to rethink the order of what you are doing. I think tile is the only thing that won't get ruined with dog pee. But you need to train them first.

| I agree with you 100%. I will be starting back at square one on the training. With all of the construction going on Hannah and my Chi, Holly have been confined to an upstairs room while contractors are here and one of them is not always going on the potty pad. I think it's Hannah! That room has always been closed off to my animals so I know there was no previous smell from one of my girls but my sons girlfriend has 2 yorkies that may have solied up there when they were here last summer. IDK for sure. I will probably confine Hannah and Holly to their x-pen and my dining area that has ceramic tile when these contractors are done and gone.
