| So happy brother & sister will be together, it's hard to see two bonded babies, how can you separate them. They will have a wonderful home. Also wonderful your friends adopting also, 3 babies re-homed, awesome. Even tho Crystal has been an only child she would adapt should you get another baby. Mine all did. Don't expect a "love at first sight" meeting lol. It may take a few weeks for Crystal to feel comfortable and accept a new buddy. If you and the Mrs feel you can keep up with 2 little rascals I say go for it. Two little yorkies are so much fun and entertaining. They will be good company for each other. As long as your little Crystal is dog friendly go for it.

| You have so much love to share, so I'm sure it would work out great with another little one. I believe Crystal is young enough to accept another pup. At one time I had three Yorkie females. I loved it. They all had the same sire, and they were within a year of each other. Our last little girl, Ashley, passed away four years ago. In addition, growing up, I always had multiple dogs at a time. I'd love for Katie to have a sibling. She was raised with her breeder for three years, so she was around several dogs and pups. I wasn't sure if she'd be happy, because for two and a half years she has lived the life of a little princess who gets all of the attention. My dear friend came to visit for several days last spring, and Katie loved her three Yorkies. I hope when the time is right for us to add another little one, Katie will be equally as happy. We are so thrilled with katie, so our desire is more because we feel it would be good for katie, but it's not the best time for us now. Despite that, I believe it's much nicer for pups to have a sibling to share their lives with. As much as they love each other, they still love the attention of their human family. Whatever you decide, Crystal is so lucky to be loved by you. You have a huge heart, and I love to read about your little girl. |

| Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | It's wonderful to be able to advise something good about our little pals here. My friends new adoptee (see above) is now settling in well. She's small, about 6 pounds and had swollen mammaries. I had a feeling she'd had a litter in the recent past and was generally undernourished, both which the Vet confirmed yesterday. Her previous 'Greeders' had separated her from her children and then her job done sold her for $800 with no papers and a very suspicious innoculation certificate. How these hateful people can do this to a little creature is completely alien to my nature! It's possible to gain the former owner's details from beneath a label sticker with the aid of an LED lamp. From this revelation my friends are contacting the person shown, to try and get more details. She has settled really well and her new mum & dad are just as doting as we are with Crystal, if not worse! We introduced the girls twice. The 1st time was in two year old 'Molly's' new home. Crystal was behooded within her bomber fleece jacket resembling 'Rocky' on steroids, in comparative physique to the meek and demure occupant in residence. Crystal is a real 'bovver - girl' tomboy type and was keen to affirm her establishment upon the scene. Following a frenetic chase, little Molly successfully escaped to her dad's arms, where she proceeded to remonstrate this foreign invader with her dulcet tones, which had us all falling about with laughter as she yodels rather than barks! Our friends report she made the bed first night in and also has a delightful little 'eyrie' by the window where she enjoys a little yelp at everyone who passes by. We got the girls together again yesterday in our local pub (bar), where they this time united to admonish a lugubrious Lurcher who came a bit too close for a sniff! Clearly Molly can't believe her change in fortune from a horribly divisive, grabbing family of chavs (dumbo's) to the luxury of two adoring pensioners, with a cottage in the country, a motorhome and a 67ft barge to help while away her days in isolate adoration! I was completely taken with her, but then I love all Yorks anyway! I did advise Molly however that it was Crystal who'd created this chain of love and discovery that had originated her wonderful change of circumstance. I got as big a lick as this tiny girl could give, so clearly she's on the ball! |
