| Teddy tried to pee ON me!!! (I THINK) So, there I was, drinking my coffee and having my morning zen moment. Teddy was being obnoxious (as usual) by barking at me and trying to get me to play with him. I ignored him cuz I rule the roost around here...not him. Anyway, he was licking my hand on his way up to my lap and I THINK he lifted his leg on my knee!!!!! I screamed NOOOOOOOOOOOOO at him and he looked at me with crazy eyes (@@) <-- like so and sniffed my knee and jumped off the couch to stare at me. I said to him, "WHAT WERE YOU DOING?" and he ran off and hid in his bed!!! I'm pretty sure I didn't imagine this so was he trying to mark me?? I feel violated! |

Ha, maybe that's it, then? I dunno! He's not neutered so maybe he thought my hand would be romantically interested if he...peed on it??? Hahaha I have no idea!

| Magnus tried marking on my dad once when we took him to the park... Never done that to any family member before so no clue what brought that on. Thankfully, didn't happen again. LOL |

Maybe you should seek a dog psychic, he may tell them what his intentions were lol. Cute lil Teddy.

| He could have gotten super excited, over anxious in his feelings and how to express them, became hyperexcited, wanting to urinate for relief. In some dogs, urination is almost a displacement behavior - something they do when they don't know what else to do with their feelings. Or, he could have been trying to send a social message to you that he's vying for control and marking his lesser in rank in the process, though if you are the leader in your relationship, the latter is very highly doubtful. More than likely, he just got too emotionally carried away, as humans do at times, and did an off-the-wall thing.

Yes, I can see him doing this! Quote:
I think you may be on to something there. I also read that dogs who get really excited chew on toys maniacally during high stress/anxious/exciting events e.g. when owner comes home and he does this, too.. He acts so excited he runs to find a toy and brings it to the place/person who started all of the excitement. So, what you say makes sense... Poor little thing..he's just too happy and excited and nervous all the time. He's like his mom - a nervous wreck of happiness..lol

| Decades ago, my best dog ever peed on a girlfriend that I HAD! LOL Yeah, it was pretty much over right then. At the time, I interpreted it as a vote for no confidence in the relationship. LOL In hindsight, maybe he was just establishing the pack order. IDK |

| Look on the bright side. Teddy's a nice size. I was marked by an adult Dobe once. *shudder* Oh! and a friend's Kelpie marks me every time I go visit her (Yes, Guy, I am visiting HER, not you, but I do love you - silly dog) Once I get home from visiting Guy and his owner (lol) my poodle Bug tried to mark over whatever Guy marked. *sigh* Does that mean they *gulp* love (?) me somehow? |

| Years ago our neighbor was over in our yard visiting with their lab Max who was oooooo....about 90 lbs and not altered. We were all standing in a group and Max lifted his leg and peed on my leg! everyone thought it was really funny except me with a peed on leg and shoe filled with pee. Gross! That reminds me...Pebbles pooped in Toms slipper once and it was a deliberate aim too. She literally had to of baked up and had good aim
