I hate when people say Chloe needs a haircut

I wish if people could not say something positive they would keep their opinions to themselves. I once had a women say that my Sophie was not show quality. I really do not care what she thought I did not get Sophie to show I got her to love.

I agree but secretly inside (would never say it out loud) that when I see a scruffy, messy looking yorkie with stringy long hair and a top knot that is always askew I can't help but think CUT it But when you have pups like Kristen's Max and Teddy I can't help but think how beautiful they look with a show style coat. Lola has a lot of hair but I have found that she looks so much better with a cute wedgy type of face and very trimmed and tipped yorkie ears.

The lady that Sophie was not show quality had 6 of them that were show dogs and they looked like they had not been groomed or brushed in a month.

I have a yorkie and a Maltese. Kept my maltese in full coat for a year. It was a lot of work. And my yorkie Prada was getting her coat nice and long but she had the surgery and they shaved the back leg from the hip down and a bit off the front for her IV. I love them in full and short coats. Yorkies are just so darn loveable.

I've had yorkies since 2005 and have never cut one of them down. They're always in full coats. I just prefer the look rather than a short coat. Every time a vet or groomer sees them they tell me they almost never see a yorkie in a full coat. I mostly hear people say I should cut the hair of in the summer because they think it must be hot for them. But it's not going to happen.

Thank you for the compliment, but I think you must have Max and Teddy confused with 2 better groomed Yorkies, LOL. Their topknots are always askew. Really, I am terrible at doing topknots and Teddy prefers his hanging to the side. *sigh*

Max, I prefer with a longer beard because he has a such a head of hair that when I cut it short, it makes his head look huge.

LOL I don't think so, but then I think you and I are alike we try to only post the good photos, everything thinks Lola is perfect but LOL most of the time her top knot is half out and her face sticky, I discovered my husband lets her lick his ice cream dish clean every night (no chocolate of course)
