| When you go away Where does everyone leave their lovebugs when they go away. I was wondering you who have more then one Yorkie and are going away where you can not take them, where do you leave them.... I would love to get another but do not know if I would have problems when I have to go away and its not possible to take her. Right now I stay at a friends if I have to go to Toronto and she has a cat. One Yorkie is okay 2 Im thinking would be a no no. Family looks after her sometimes but they have dogs of their own, even though they love her to pieces. |

| We are really lucky that we have a friends parents that are quite involved in our local 4H.....anyway the boys love to go there to their "camp". They adore our boys and the boys feel the same...everytime they get to go there they get so excited. It works great for us..if for some reason we are going to be gone for a long day we will take the boys to their house for the day- It works great for us- they love the boys and the boys love them too.... Ask around you may find a friends friend that would be a great sitter.

| If we were to go out of town and couldn't take tigger, I'd leave him at Petsmarts Pethotel. that way someone would be watching him 24 hours a day and there's a vet on site(tiggers vet) so I would feel really secure. I don't trust my boyfriends friend, Evan.

| Living in Germany gives me the opportunity to take Twinkie ANYWHERE with me. Most hotels allow animals so that makes it even easier to take her along. If for any reason I will need to leave her behind in the future I would leave her with a friend. It would be easier for me knowing that someone I know and trust will take care of her than taking her to a pet pension.

When we go we always take our dogs with us. Well 99% of the time. If we can't we have a really good friend that dog sits. The min pin that we have sometimes they stay with her. I also have another friend the lady that has Wyatt's daddy. She kept Mollie & the puppies when they were about a week old when our son suddenly died. So I did not have to worry about them. Most of the time one of them is always available if needed.

| I ususally take my 2, if not, I leave them with family. However, I have also used a pet sitting service several times before. We have a dog door and had the pet sitter come over to play and check on them a couple of times a day. She was great!!!! She left notes on how they interacted with her, what games they played, how much they ate. She also picked up the mail, put trash out, and rotated turning the lights on and off. I was a bad mommy and NEVER have crated my two boys, so they FREAK OUT when they are in a crate (at the vet, groomers....) I just know they wouldn't do well in a kennel. Not the Kennel's fault, it's mine. So I couldn't put them in one AND leave for days on end... a pet sitting service has been the best option for us!!! |

| If I can take them with me they come. If not my Dad, or a close family friend watches them for me. They actually come back spoiled rotten, (worse than they already are )

| I have a wonderful woman who comes to my home to take care of mine. I find its not as disruptive for them. She has a pet sitting service and she will stop in for visits, stay over, and even take them on outings if you want.
