Living in Germany gives me the opportunity to take Twinkie ANYWHERE with me. Most hotels allow animals so that makes it even easier to take her along.
If for any reason I will need to leave her behind in the future I would leave her with a friend. It would be easier for me knowing that someone I know and trust will take care of her than taking her to a pet pension.
