| I have and can't seem to get the hang of it. I tightened up the scissors and that seems to help but I think the hair is really choppy looking. It's probably me. I don't use mine.

| I saw the paw/face version of these in Petco and in my opinion, I think they are really bad. I wanted to buy them for Chloe's paw pad hair because she isn't letting me use a trimmer.

| Yes....and they didn't work worth a darn. I have a close friend and he took his dog to petsmart where they literally clipper burned his dogs bunhole while trying to do a sanitary patch(who knows what else happened). He immediately started having diarrhea all over the grooming table....so they sent him home because of "the diarrhea".....not telling the owner about the clipper burn or what really happened. The dog was so traumatized and it was apparent something was wrong so he was taken to the vet where the clipper burn was discovered. Anyways...so he decided to buy the scaredy cut scissors to try since he thought the dog might be permanently traumatized by his experience at petsmart. Unfortunately, they did not work well, so clippers were still needed.....but he has a poodle mix and their hair is a lot different. I can't really imagine them working too well on any dog though. I think I'd use thinning shears before those. We were really disappointed in them. |

| We have them, and have been using them on Chase for the past year and a half. He's afraid of clippers, and we lost our awesome groomer when we moved. It does make his hair kinda choppy looking, but the more you use them the better you get. We just did it again this past Sunday, and he was really over due for a haircut. It was our best one yet! It's really worth it if the clippers stress your dog out too much, and if you aren't too worried about the cut not being perfect. My only real complaint is the scissors could be sharper, but Chase has a cottony coat so it's pretty thick. |
