Yes....and they didn't work worth a darn.

I have a close friend and he took his dog to petsmart where they literally clipper burned his dogs bunhole while trying to do a sanitary patch(who knows what else happened). He immediately started having diarrhea all over the grooming table....so they sent him home because of "the diarrhea".....not telling the owner about the clipper burn or what really happened. The dog was so traumatized and it was apparent something was wrong so he was taken to the vet where the clipper burn was discovered.

Anyways...so he decided to buy the scaredy cut scissors to try since he thought the dog might be permanently traumatized by his experience at petsmart. Unfortunately, they did not work well, so clippers were still needed.....but he has a poodle mix and their hair is a lot different.

I can't really imagine them working too well on any dog though. I think I'd use thinning shears before those. We were really disappointed in them.
