| An unexpected purchase that turned out to be a GREAT brush! I went to the beauty supply store and saw this little box with a picture of a yorkie on it so I picked it up.. andd I don't know why but I decided to buy it. It was a cute little purple brush from the makers of Wet Brush. I found it online but I can't find it on the Wet Brush website anymore, not sure why. I bought it in the store for $6, though.. so that was a steal. I'm assuming it's discontinued now. Purple Love Brush Dogs Puppies Cats Brushes Grooming Supplies Wet Dry Fur Hair | eBay I just used it and I really liked it! It brushes through the hair like butter. Just thought I'd share. Another brush to add to my collection, lol. I don't even have as many brushes as my yorkie!!

| Those little balls @ the end...not so good for Yorkie hair or people hair. Over time, the brush will break down & the balls will also deteriorate. The hair will then get snagged on the sides of the ball & it will break. Ultimately, you'll end up w/ frizzy hair w/split ends. The balls also prevent the pins of the brush from penetrating the hair & will not brush out all the tangles & you'll end up w/lots of tangles that are to the skin.

| IDK, the BASS pet brush has the balls @ the end molded to the pins (some models), it's the same material as the pin. So I can see how those will be ok..but not these plastic balls that are attached to the ends...

| I have the Madan and CC which are both great brushes but I do use the actual Wet Brush on my own hair and it works pretty well. This brush has the same exact design except the handle is a little different because it's less heavy. I did like how it detangled Chloe's hair, though. Nancy did your hairstylist have this brush? https://www.thewetbrush.com/index.ph...wet-brush.html

| When you brush, the balls and pins spread outward so they aren't tough at all like a regular brush with ball tips.. somehow it detangles this way. I'm not sure how but you can check out the company website, you might like the brush for your own hair! The Wet Brush | The Best Detangling Brush Ever | Official Website

| https://www.thewetbrush.com/index.ph...fie-brush.html This one already is tooo too much, LOL I think these are cheaper if you want to try out the brush for $7 and they're a good size for yorkies http://www.thewetbrush.com/index.php...he-squirt.html This is the description: "Designed specifically for wet hair, the Squirt's Intelliflex™ bristles are super thin, strong and flexible. These bristles will glide through any hair type combing out tangles effortlessly. The bristles' flexibility enables protective and pain-free detangling while the SofTips™ on the very top of the bristles massage the scalp to stimulate circulation at the follicle. They are firm enough to comb through knots, yet flexible enough to be gentle on the scalp. Our IntelliFlex™ bristles bounce back to their original form after each stroke eliminating all the hair breakage and pain that used to be associated with brushing your hair. The Squirt can be used on wet or dry hair and works on extensions and wigs."

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I agree with Jenny. Balls on the ends of the brushes damage the hair. All the brushes I have do not have balls. And all the show breeders I know recommend pin brushes without balls.

Is this the same for our hair? A lot of my brushes have pins with balls and I've never really paid attention to what my hair stylist uses. I'll look into this, I didn't know

| Umm, is it ok to use a leave-in conditioner and a (human) baby hair brush? Piper doesn't get tangly and I use both lightly. She particularly likes to be "brushed" on her tummy---which has nooo hair! |
