YT 500 Club Member | How Many Bowel Movements A Day So how many bowel movements a day is normal? I remember my last dog would go in the morning and then at night. Sammie is 7 1.2 months old and he goes twice in the morning and once in the afternoon and twice at night. So he has like 6 bowel movements a day. Am I feeding him to much? He eats good food. Blue Buffalo no grain Dry 3/4 cup a day and in the morning he gets 1/3 cup of freshpet vital beef moist in the morning. |

| If we're just at home, Jackson usually goes 1 or 2x a day. Typically in the AM after he wakes up and then again sometime in the late afternoon/evening. Sometimes it's only morning time though if he had a lazy day. With more activity, he seems to poop more. lol. He gets really excited on long walks and I think the excitement causes more poop. It's very annoying being on a walk and having to bring at least 3 poop bags for one dog just in case

| I've actually heard that BB makes some dogs poo 4-7 times a day. My two only go about 2-3 times a day depending on how much they ate or what treats they're being fed. |

| Winnie was on BB from wean until a few weeks ago...she used to go poo 4-7 times a day and they were always soft. Now that she's been on hills ideal balance small puppy she goes maybe 3 times a day and they are normal regular poos. I still feed her three times a day because she is a piggy and will over eat....but the vet did say BB had a lot of protein and is sometimes hard for little pups to handle. |

| My Ripley is a year old and is on the BB GF. She poos about 4 times a day with firm turds...not too hard and not soft. Around 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. then 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. She's pretty much on that schedule. She is pretty active. Luckily no issues with eating it.

YT 500 Club Member | Ripley and Sammie have the same schedule. Thats when he pretty much goes. I would not mind but he doesn't always hit his pee pee pad. Sometimes he goes on my dinning room rug which is 300 feet away from the pee pee pad!! LOL |

| My 8 year old, DaVinci goes 2 to 3 times a day and it's sometimes loose but he has tummy issues. My 14 week old, Jeter, goes 4 times a day and it's firm poop. Both are on Organix by Castor and Pollux, grain free, gluten free and organic. I have been thinking about switching them over to Fromm but I am not sure they make organic food. The puppy is on puppy food and both are eating each other's food. |
