| ![]() Sometimes you can get them to back themselves out from being imbedded in your skin. A lit match or other rather hot item creates enough discomfort they might let go and then you don't need to worry about the manicules or head being left in your skin. Ft Pickett, VA has got to be the tick capital of the world! |

This year we have seen far less ticks than anytime in the past 5 years. Sometimes that happens when there is a big population of any type of bug. Once they get to have huge numbers they start to die off for a while. I hope they continue to decrease in numbers. They give me the creeps! | |
