| Grooming help !!! I'm in South Korea and a good grooming is HARD to find ! Does anyone have any pictures of their yorkies in a "puppy cut" or any haircut that is short on the body and longer on the face?? If so can you PLEASEEE post pictures so that I can show the groomer and use as reference. If you have it at more than one angle that would be amazing. The last time I didn't have a picture for reference they almost shaved my baby bald. I had to stop them which left her legs and bottom bald. Google isn't great as far as pictures I'm just hoping someone could post pictures for me. I have no idea how to groom otherwise I would do it myself. Thanks in advance |

| Hiya, you can check my album - I have one titled Back from the Groomers or something. Its only a front shot though with side profile so not sure how useful that will be. I'm sure others will be able to assist further! |

| It's hard to find a GOOD trustworthy groomer in general. I think that's why a lot of members here chose to do it themselves at home. You might have a hard time the first few times but you know what they say: practice makes perfect. If you're really interested in doing it yourself, I suggest you do a search here on "grooming". You'll find tons of good info & suggestions. Also check out youtube clips. They also have many tutorials on how to cut/clip yorkies. Good luck! |

| I was very reluctant to try grooming as well. But I was more afraid to leave Joni with a groomer. So I've watched videos and gleaned this site for advice and am learning as I go. So far, no disasters. I'm sure it could look much better, but I'm fine with the results and I know she's not been stressed or hurt. I bought a grooming arm (I loop around the midsection only) which is nice but husband is my helper and he makes sure she doesn't squirm. You can do it!! |

| You're in Korea, so I know what cut you're referring to...we call it Korean cut here. I personally LOVE this look & Mina Choi is uber talented. https://www.facebook.com/joypia/medi...4798517&type=3 I noticed that some people in Korea love the puppy cut w/the round teddy bear face look we have here in the States. Here's some links w/various different styles, these are UK based sites: Explore Yorkie Haircuts Pictures And Select The Best Style For Your Pet Yorkshire Terrier Grooming at Roxie Delux in Birmingham

| Here's Billi in a "modified schnauzer" cut. Her body was cut short, with long legs and a skirt around her body and long head/face. Not a puppy cut, but an option and pretty low maintenance since she's a bit of a tomboy.

| lol I absolutely love Mina Choi's cuts and have saved some various yorkie hair cut pics by her and plan to have my girl have a cut like some of them when she's older and has more hair. But yea, it's refereed to as the Korean styled cut or Asian Fusion.

Mimi b4 bath loll I only cut the hair under her chin this time, she had grown her head hair long again (it grows fast) & I cut it round. Whenever she ate & drank, her beard would get wet, so I chopped it off. This is the look I love Puppy Angel model, so cute!
