I was very reluctant to try grooming as well. But I was more afraid to leave Joni with a groomer. So I've watched videos and gleaned this site for advice and am learning as I go. So far, no disasters. I'm sure it could look much better, but I'm fine with the results and I know she's not been stressed or hurt. I bought a grooming arm (I loop around the midsection only) which is nice but husband is my helper and he makes sure she doesn't squirm.
