| My husband is worse about our Yorkie than I am. We went on a two week vacation last year and some good friends kept her at their house. My husband told me one night when we were on a romantic beach in Mexico, that he was having a hard time enjoying himself because he felt so guilty about leaving her. |

| My son is "alll guy" & he absolutely loved our Yorkie "Mocha". He bonded with her probably the most in our family next to me! I may be biased, but I don't think he looks weird! |

I have been wondering that same question, because I've been wanting a Yorkie, but I have this feeling that people will think I'm gay, or weird or something.. Yeah though, it's awesome that FINALLY someone asked this question.. lol, I've been looking all on Jeeves and Google, and have never found an answer, and now people finally answered, lol. Yeah, I've been wanting a Yorkie, and my grandma and aunt are both buying yorkies.. My grandmas buying a female, and going to name her Gucci, and my aunt is buying a male, and going to name his Louis.. Lew-ee So yeah, but my aunts daughter is 2, and Yorkies are small, and my aunts daughter is very hyper, and my 9Ib. dog fears her, and hides under the bed lol.. I can only imagine what a 4 Ib. dog will do, so yeah, I am very, VERY worried about Louis, and Gucci for that matter, because she doesn't know any better, and yeah, idk, I am just really nearvous that she will do something.. Back to the situation though, lol.. So they want to breed the 2 dogs, and that's my grandmas goal, and I think it's awesome.. I don't support breeding, or I think people should adopt from shelters first, but I want her to breed them though.. Well, I don't know if Louis will be able to live with my 2 year old cousin, and I have a gut feeling that they will either sale him, not buy him, or give him away.. If so, I want to take him, and I have always wanted a Yorkie, but I never see guys with them, which makes me wonder what people would say.. So if they give Louis away, I want him, and if they don't.. Well, they'll be breeding them, and I would like to have one. So yeah, let's just hope thaty everyone thinks what you guys think. | |

| The man that owned the stud i bred to jersey. He used to train GSDs all over the world he also trained them for the police. He no longer has or trains gsd's but he is the proud owner of a yorkie and is totally in love with him. He's taught andy to take a dollar bill out of his wallet then andy runs to the treat jar...then he gives his dollar to his daddy and waits for his treat lol..

| I think some little dogs might be kinda girly but not yorkies. Remember, yorkies are big dogs in a little package! I remember when I first got Brandy my daughters and I were in our car and pulled up beside a big lifted Ford F-250 with this big macho looking guy driving it with two little yorkies on his lap. So cute! My husband loves to take our yorkies places but does draw the line when they have silly clothes on.

| Chick Magnet....I would also like to say from the female perspective that they are also Guy Magnets......I have often been surprised by the very macho and straight men that oooh and aaaah over Vivi and say how much they love little dogs....look at all the prof athletes that have Yorkies....

| Surprisingly - Yorkies are not just women's dogs. There are really rough, tough, little terriers that appeal to men also. Men generally do not like, or won't admit they like little fluff fluff dogs, poodles, etc. But once they meet a Yorkie, they have to admit that it is not a fluff fluff little dog --- instead, it more accurately resembles the all American little Walt Disney mutt....There is nothing feminine about a little Yorkie. The only difference is that it is "a small version" of everything they already like. I don't know how many men have said at my house, "I usually don't like little dogs, but I like this little guy. He's tough and he's cute!!!!! Unfortunately, most of these men don't respond well to the longhaired little show-type Yorkie with a bow in it's hair, but they certainly do take to the shorter cut little guy that looks and acts like he could take on the world. And - they often react better to our treating our little Yorkies like a regular little dog -- and certainly don't like any of us women treating them like dainty fragile little babies. A lot of the way we treat our little dogs - and groom them - makes a big difference as to whether or not guys like them. Carol Jean |

| I am 22 and I have a yorkie wethear a woman dog or not. I have never gone by what is impossed by society other wise I would always be worrying about "What they think" if I like something its mine period. What other say or percieve doesn't matter to me. I won't drown in a glass of water over others perceptions. |

| I think a Yorkie is a dog for everyone My husband, (who is covered in tattoos and rides a motorcycle) doesn't care to walk around with his 3 pound Yorkie. DH has also been known to put a bow in Jersey's hair and make her wear a "Daddy's Girl" tee shirt when going out.
