| Beach waterpark dog day of summer This is a shout out to anyone near by Mason OH that the Beach Waterpark is having their annual dog day of summer where the dogs are allowed in the waterpark and they have events for the dogs Sunday Sept 14th. It is a fun event and Im in Indiana and try to go to it to support the waterpark and enjoy a fun day with my dogs. Hope to see you there!

| wow how cool is that, sounds like an awesome event. If Cody didn't have this behavior issue I would make that trip, I would enjoy nothing more then to spend a day with lil boy at a water park, just to watch the dog events. What a wonderful thing this park is doing for our lil fur kids, they are to be commended.

| How awesome an idea!! Too bad I don't live close. It would be a hoot watching the dogs react to the spray park My Bailey is not great with other dogs either, but thought to bring him to a doggy day here in my own town. He was a bit timid, but didn't bother going 'Kugo' as usual, which was a nice thing for him, and me. Of course, I kept Bailey's leash on the whole time. I say bring your dog and try it out. Perhaps Cody will pleasantly surprise you. On another note, does anyone else not use the 'community water bowls' like myself? I don't use them as I don't know what bacteria is in the water. I feel that a bigger dog may be able to deal with some nasty bacteria, but not my 8 lbs. Yorkie. Am I being a bit over the top in my thinking here? |

when he is around other dogs, since there are no dog walkers in my community the trainer told me to take him to town, walk him, there are other dogs in town. HA!!!!! I went this past Friday, walked 20 blocks, NO OTHER DOGS. Monday I will go to Pet Supplies not put him in shopping cart as I usually do, trainer said to walk him, I will see how that goes, will also go to town again. So until I get his behavior under control, I will not go where I know there are or can be many does. I checked map quest, it would be an 11 hour drive to Indiana, boy would I love that. To bad cody was not socialized as a pup.

| Good to hear I am not the only one. I also bring a dog water bottle, but no ice in it. Lucky Cody. Sorry, I missed that Cody is just 10 months old. For sure I wouldn't have taken Bailey at that age also. All the best in finding dogs in town. My Bailey is awesome at commands, such as: sit, lay down, stay, roll over, spin, reach for the sky, play dead, but he is still pulling at times when we go for walks It is frustrating walking with him and he does this. I found something interesting by accident; he walks nicely when in between two people. Good luck with your Cody. I'm sure with the second chance you are giving him, with all the teaching and love he's receiving from you, in time he will be the best dog ever. |
