| Gracie needed a sister So forget the fact that Gracie is less than 8 weeks past LP surgery and we are in the midst of investigating liver problems. She is almost a year old and she needed a friend, so I spent weeks searching, and finally hubby and I made an appointment and took a road trip to pick up a sweet, still quiet (how long will that last?), fluffy 12-week-old girl. We are loving being a two dog familyfamily--some of you are to blame for that. We have tried several names, complicated by the fact that our first yorkie was named Mercy, which led to Gracie. For this baby we have considered Millie, but a friend suggested that it didn't "fit." The most current idea is Glory--not a name I would usually choose, but we like it with Gracie. If anyone has any ideas, please feel free to chime in! Anyway, we are about to find out if two dogs are easier than three children! I will post a name on this thread when we decide. |

| The Seven Virtues This site gives the seven virtues. Prudence or Prudie is cute and Justice is good, too. Congrats on your new baby. When it was time to pick up Teddy, I didn't sleep for three days!! |

| I'm really excited for you! My little Gracie had two sisters, and it was so much fun. She was the youngest of the three, but there was something truly special about her. They are together at the Rainbow Bridge. Gracie was named Amazin' Grace by her breeder and her litter mate sister was named Mary. I can't wait to read more about her. I wish you much health, happiness, love, and laughter with your two precious little girls.

| Thanks for all of the suggestions. I think we have decided to go back to our first choice, Millie. We were never going to satisfy all of our friends AND family. They will have to get their own pets to use those names! Gracie and Millie are beginning to interact a little. Millie is very quiet, not a peep out of her the last two nights in a playpen in our room with her potty pad, food, water, and bed. (I am waiting for her to break bad!) Tonight, she will sleep in her side of Gracie's pen-one of those multi-panel/fold into any configuration things. I am having to entice her to eat with a little Nutri-Cal mixed with the kibble, but I will do whatever it takes for a while. She was not tempted by baby food chicken, warmed soft food or anything else I could dream of. The two of them look so cute together, Gracie with her parti coloring, long and lean and with very short hair while we let the shaved legs grow out, and Millie with her short legs, dark hair, and fluffy little puppy body. I think I am going to love having two! |

Millie is a beautiful name! I am partial, though, as my grandma was named Lillie which is very similar. let us know when you have some pics of your new addition! | |
