Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() I'm home with Shelby all the time - luckily she goes back and forth on primary bonding between my partner Stephen and me - helps keep us all sane - way better for her, IMHO |

| ![]() I like to think it's just a balancing act. In my case Winston knows without a doubt that I am his primary caregiver...but yet his Dad is his favorite toy. I get it, but it breaks my heart that when it's time to settle in for the night, he prefers to snuggle with my hubby. I have chronic insomnia and toss and turn, get up and down all night long. I think he just finds comfort and a sense of stability with his Dad.
