Full coat

I was ready up on yorkie coat care and I read to never comb the hair dry. That doing so causes damage and breakage. Do anybody find this to be true or just talk

We always spray ours with PetHead detangler before brushing them.

There are other things that can influence the eye shine in a photo. One of the photographers here on YT explained, but I do not remember the details. Something about the type of flash and other types of lighting that may be present in the room. That would explain why my photos sometimes come out with blue/green eyes, sometimes gold/red, and sometimes one of each :

This was the best I could do with her moving and only having an iPhone not an actual cam. All I really see is light, not really a color

I know it is confusing. Years ago I had a yorkie Kyra's color. Her coat never matted and it was shiny but she had really red eye shine. A show breeder said she was what they called 'soft coated'. Her head never cleared, it just stayed sooty.

She looks to me like she will have a silky coat. Whether or not she will stay dark steel blue is the question. You don't know until they get older if they will hold their color.
