| ![]() I wish my dog could eat RC, she did so well on it! Right now she can't eat kibble, I hope it's just a stage? She swallows it whole and it comes back up too often. I wonder if the adult kibble is larger so maybe she would chew it? My goal is to find a wet food (may be homemade) plus a kibble. We are a work in progress. |

| ![]() I studied ingredient lists in kibble for a long time and could not find one that satisfied me. Besides pet food company regulations about what they have to list in the ingredient list are very lax to non existent. Gracie refused all kibble anyway so we ended up feeding Stella & Chewy's freeze dried food and the frozen kind as well. I was well satisfied about the quality ingredients. I also sometimes prepare her food at home. She has done very well with this type of feeding. Fresh foods are always healthier than ones with preservatives and synthetic vitamins added to replace what processing has taken out. If you are interested in finding out more about the pet food industry you may find the Truth about Pet Food site informative, interesting reading. Senior Yorkie Talker | ![]() I tried to change from royal canine to wellness but my pebbles would not eat wellness! I also looked at royal canin ingredients so tried to switch. Bam bam will eat anything but not picky pebbles. Back to royal canin for now. |
