Would just like to share that the CC wooden pin brush is AMAZINGGGGGGGGG!!!

I think this is my favorite brush for grooming now.. I don't think I'll be touching my madan after this, lol. I was having issues with Chloe's leg hair tangling.. but this brush is great! I brushed through her leg hair a few times and ALL of the tangles came out really easy. She's also really small so the much smaller size of this vs Madan is soo much better for her small body.

Loving this brush! If you have problems with tangles.. definitely recommend this brush!!

I love having both brushes and more in my collection. Can never have enough tools! I use the wood pin and Madan for different things, plus some other brushes and combs.

Chloe runs away from me with the madan because the pins are big and the brush itself is larger The brush is larger than her head, lol. The madan is good for making the hair smooth and pretty but I really like the CC wooden pin one for detangling and for size, she also didn't fight me today because I feel it isn't pulling her hair.

Do you use the CC on wet hair? I sent an email and Whitney said it was okay so I used it after Chloe's bath but I hope I won't ruin the wood this way.

Madan has smaller, oblong brushes too.

No matter which tool I use, I always hold the hair in sections in one hand to prevent skin pulling.

Water will not hurt the wood pin brushes. You can use sprays on them and rinse them to clean. However, the only thing I use on soaking wet hair is a very wide tooth steel comb and fingers. Like human hair, when it is wet, it is more susceptible to damage. When the hair is half way dry, I switch to a regular comb and then a brush.

By the time I get her to calm down for hair brushing her hair is already half dry LOL.

I agree! P-Nut's cotton coat makes mincemeat of the Madans, but that CC brush has been a lifesaver!

Well darn it, now I think I probably need a wood brush! Darn you . So you really like it that much, eh? I've been using this crazy brush called the Tangle Teaser and it's amazing...but maybe I now need yet another brush!

Cali does not tend to tangle but all I have used for 3 1/2 years is the small wooden pin brush. Goes through her hair like butter!! We love it.

Yes! I really love it, I didn't expect for it to be this good! I was having a hard time with brushing because her legs tangle and then it'd be a process to detangle.. but this does exactly what it says in the brush description, it really glides through the hair! I love it, I only wish I thought of buying CC brushes sooner because now I have a whole collection of madan products. I honestly think the madan is just like any other pin brush and for the price you're only buying the name because it's a light, plastic brush and it pulls if there's a tangle in the hair. I also recently ordered the madan rattail comb and for 10$ it looks exactly like a comb you can get for $1 in the beauty supply.

I'm sure others might have different opinions on madan but.. I think this brush is probably the BEST grooming tool I have bought so far!! And it at least looks worth the money in workmanship and how it works.

I purchased the CC wood pin brush bc of the rave reviews & didn't like it @ all...I feel the opposite of you, not bc I sell the Madan's. I felt that the CC brush pulled their hair more than the Madan's & it was not good @ brushing out tangles on my guys.

Just wanted to mention that Madan brushes are not like any other brush. It's designed by a National Show Judge. It's designed for long haired or full coated breeds & it's not like a plastic brush or comb that you can get @ a beauty supply store. I have a cheap plastic $1 comb from a beauty supply store & it doesn't even compare, the Madan steel tail comb is far superior.

I love the steel tail Madan comb for picking apart tangles, doing topknots, and topline parts.

I just took a shower and used the large Madan steel comb on my hair. Yes, I steal my doggie's grooming tools.
