I purchased the CC wood pin brush bc of the rave reviews & didn't like it @ all...I feel the opposite of you, not bc I sell the Madan's.
I felt that the CC brush pulled their hair more than the Madan's & it was not good @ brushing out tangles on my guys.
Just wanted to mention that Madan brushes are not like any other brush. It's designed by a National Show Judge. It's designed for long haired or full coated breeds & it's not like a plastic brush or comb that you can get @ a beauty supply store. I have a cheap plastic $1 comb from a beauty supply store & it doesn't even compare, the Madan steel tail comb is far superior.
