| What did your furbutt train YOU to do? Once in a while, I jokingly say "Magnus has trained me very well". But now that I think about it, it's pretty true. The best example is when he wants fresh water. There's always water in his bowl but he prefers cold/fresh water. And when there isn't any, he'll either paw at the bowl or the water dispenser. Whenever I hear it, I unconsciously stop from whatever I was doing and give him fresh cold water. LOL I can't be the only one that's been trained by our furbutts so I wanted to hear if anyone else out there have been trained~! |

| My Ripley has trained my husband to fetch her ball. She jumps on the sofa and hangs over the arm and drops her ball. Then she barks to make my husband go get if for her. When he does, she tries to beat him to it.

| Oh so true...Cedric has me trained to do the same with his water..in fact each day when I get home after greeting everyone that is my first chore. He also has me trained to hold his chew treat, pick up his poop.....his sister Keylo is a poop eater so literally even at 2 am he will let me know he did poop and I need to pick it up....hmmm Lola has me trained to carry her off the bed to go outside potty in the morning...she will not move until I pick her up. hehehe

Lol..Pao throw his ball down the stairs! He bats the ball with his paws like it is a tennis game or something. The only difference is he won't try to beat you to it. He just barks and whimpers till we go retrieve it for him and he throws it down all over again and again and again until we had enough and put the puppy gate across! I actually had a video of him doing it.

YT 2000 Club Member | Tatiana has a certain way that she likes me to sit so she can snuggle on my lap. She paws at my leg, so I will move it so she has the perfect spot to lay. She also paws my shoulder at night when she wants under the blankets. She stands on the edge of the bed for me to lift her down, tells me when it is meal time by barking or talking to me, brings me a toy when she wants to play, scratches the bathroom door because, she thinks I need her company no matter wat I am doing! I could go on and on......she has me wrapped firmly around her tiny, little paws! I do all without blinking an eye because I love her to the moon and back!

| Maggie will wait in front of me when I am on the sofa so that I will move over for her to get into "her" place. I can't sit normally on the end of the sofa, I have to sort of scooch over and lean on the arm with a place for her between the arm and my. I lay on my side. She has my husband trained to add MORE chicken to her dinner. We always mixed in some boilded chicken with her RC dry food (she won't touch it without chicken added). She eats just more than half (at this point she has managed to get all the tiny pieces of chicken out of it) then stops and stares at my husband until he comes over and adds more to the kibble she has left behind. Then she usually finishes it. |

| My adopted Cody is only with me 6 months and has me well trained, (but after 4 yorkies I dance to their tune, so it's automatic, they whine, bark, I jump) when Cody sees a critter through the window, he'll come running to me, jumping, barking running to the door, I always let him out (it's a deck) to show him "see it's gone now". Yeah, they all trained me very well, wouldn't have it any other way.

| matese, oh yes, I am also trained to let her out to catch the squirrels. We tell her to go get them! We tell her loudly so the squirrels ALWAYS scatter before she can get there. We'd hate to see what happen if she caught one.....I guess squirrels are a good reason to keep that rabies shot current. I had forgotten about that potential (though remote) exposure. |

| Many things! But.... Hmmmm.... Here's a weird one, leaving one foot wet when getting out of the tub or shower.... Mack thinks he must "help" me dry off! Lol

| Mine do the funniest thing when mr Frosty comes down the street the ice cream truck they bark and whimper untill we get them an ice cream. So they have us trained to get them ice cream. Just got to its so cute. We have other ice cream trucks that come down the street and they only do it for his they know when they hear his music. It tickles the ice cream truck driver and alot of times he gives us there ice cream for free

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | The most annoying thing they've trained me to do is to herd them into the house after a car ride. They know not to cross the street, but they will wander out front forever if I don't herd them toward the door. They won't even let me pick them up. Jillie will also drop her ball off the couch and make me get it.
