| rosie got OUT this morning id opened the french doors and let rosie out (like i do every morning) made a coffee and sat down to watch the breakfast news when i saw this yorkie run past my house, first of all i thought i must of imagined it, then i heard my rosie barking but not from the back from the front, i jumped up opened the door and she came in all excited and soaking wet, i was shaking from had to toe because i realise how lucky i am that she either didnt just run, someone taken her or run over, what worried me was how she got out, so i shut her in another room and went outside and my side gate was wide open thats how she escaped, now im mad because i want to no who left it open i think it was my husband when he left for work today, iv now put a peice of wood in front of the gate incase it happens again. im just relived shes ok i dont no what i would of done if anything had happened to her |

| I had something similar to happen last week, I opened the back door long enough to take the garbage out and mia must have slipped out ? I heard a light scratching sound at my door and there she stood cute as can be ,it really scared me to think about what could have happened

| I know how you feel! I had a friend come over about a month after we got Macey, and when I opened the door she BOLTED out and ran straight towards the street! We ran after her, and that only made her want to run more! It was probably one of the scariest moments of my life when I watched my friend dive for my dog who was standing no more than a foot from the road.. as a car drove by! After that, we were always so careful when we opened the door!

| I had a similar situation, a couple of weeks ago I was carrying in the groceries from my car into the kitchen and as I was unpacking them and putting them away I came across some Yogart Drops that I bought as a treat for Desi. I was curious to see if Desi would like them so I called her...no answer. I proceeded to look high and low for her, but no sign. As I kept looking, I was getting scared thinking I was going to find her hurt or dead (God forbid) because there was no other reason she wouldn't have come running. When I ran out of places to look in the house, something told me to open the front door, and THERE SHE WAS !!! She must have slip past me when I was bring in the grocery bags. Meanwhile, it was absolutely freezing that day and she was sitting there shaking like a leaf. By the time I found her 20 minutes had past, I hate to think what would have happened if I wasn't curious about those Yogart Drops. She could have frozen to death.
