I had a similar situation, a couple of weeks ago I was carrying in the groceries from my car into the kitchen and as I was unpacking them and putting them away I came across some Yogart Drops that I bought as a treat for Desi. I was curious to see if Desi would like them so I called her...no answer. I proceeded to look high and low for her, but no sign. As I kept looking, I was getting scared thinking I was going to find her hurt or dead (God forbid) because there was no other reason she wouldn't have come running. When I ran out of places to look in the house, something told me to open the front door, and THERE SHE WAS !!! She must have slip past me when I was bring in the grocery bags. Meanwhile, it was absolutely freezing that day and she was sitting there shaking like a leaf. By the time I found her 20 minutes had past, I hate to think what would have happened if I wasn't curious about those Yogart Drops. She could have frozen to death.
