| Belly band Ok got Max a belly band. It works great when on which is on in the house. If not on he will pee in house. Very upset with myself that I can not catch he in the act. I think the pooping is better. He is 4 mos and we have been at this for a couple mos. I need help. I take the band off when he goes outside. Our yard is fenced but I go with him to make sure he potties. I make a big deal we he goes so today I am taking tiny pcs of hot dog so maybe he feels potty outside is good. I love this puppy to death but I need him to pee outside. I have never had so trouble house training. Help! |

| He may be marking and that is different in his mind. he is marking his territory in the house and if you cannot catch him in the act he will not fully understand what the belly band is for. if you harness/leash him while in the house and keep him with you at all times for one day and catch him in the act then you can correct him and put on his belly band. I know that may not be a realistic approach but catching them is key to correcting the issue. my opinion only but that was the only way it clicked for Cedric. all i have to do now is leave Cedric's belly band where he can see it and he hates wearing it which has helped stop the marking issues inside.

| I think you're expecting an awful lot for a baby. At only 4 months he's going to have accidents. I also think that putting a belly band on such a young pup is just going to confuse him even more!
