He may be marking and that is different in his mind. he is marking his territory in the house and if you cannot catch him in the act he will not fully understand what the belly band is for. if you harness/leash him while in the house and keep him with you at all times for one day and catch him in the act then you can correct him and put on his belly band. I know that may not be a realistic approach but catching them is key to correcting the issue. my opinion only but that was the only way it clicked for Cedric. all i have to do now is leave Cedric's belly band where he can see it and he hates wearing it which has helped stop the marking issues inside.
