				 | Parker has slept with me since he came home. The only time that we had any trouble with him, was when he was sick... and then he didn't potty in the bed, he threw up. Other than that, he pretty much sleeps through the night and gets up first thing when I do to go potty. He has since he was 12 weeks old.

				 | Yep Smudger sleeps with us although that wasn't the plan when we got him. He would cry and cry till we let him up. Sometimes he is too playful or excited and keeps me awake so then I put him downstairs. But I hate the thought of confining him to the kitchen all night and then getting up and going o work and leaving him again!!!

And she patrols the bed for cats ..hahaha Monet one of our cats sleeps with me so Miss Mini has to let her think shes top dog ...even tho i let Mini know ..I am the momma . Deb |

				 | Thanks for the responses! My last yorkie slept with me and it was one of our favorite things. When I talked to an animal communicator, my Yorkie said he missed that more then anything. The only dominance issues we had are because I did nto socialize him with other dogs enough and train him better outside but inside...he knew who was boss when it came down to it. It was "his" house but he knew that topping him was me but he loved me so much that he would do anything to please me. He didn't want to see me upset so he wanted to be trained in the house. Not that I was mean...because I'm not. He was strong...yet babyish if that makes any sense. A great dog. Just great. So, when my new yorkie was housebroken, I was going to let him sleep with me too. I"m doing clicker training this time around. I like the positive reinforcement. I'm hoping it will help us with our outside training. I also LOVE to teach tricks and I think that helped to build a bond between my last dog and me. suzie |

| Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Our girls sleep with us...Sailor sleeps with me and Magic with my mom!! I think they enjoy the individual time alone with us and being able to cuddle up with us to sleep. Even now during the day they both like to sleep close to us with they take naps....I wouldn't do anything different!!!

				 | Both of my babies sleep with us. All I have to do is say "time for bed" or "night night" and they run to the bedroom. Neither can jump up onto the bed, so I have to lift them and Joy jumps into my arms with excitement. As for accidents, the only time we've had accidents is when they're sick for some reason. Not that I like waking to unpleasant surprises on my comforter, but it's so worth having my babies curled up next to me. I've never heard of dominance issued and haven't experience any such thing in my house. They know that I'm the boss.

				 | I tried to kennel my dogs at night when I got them. It didn't last long, I couldn't stand the crying. They sleep in the bed...the Have the bed. I end up right on the edge because they have me pushed there by morning. I can't sleep without them. |

				 | More like Princess lets us sleep with her. I just wish she didn't have to bring so many toys to bed.

				 | Riley sleeps with my mom and TJ sleeps with me. Riley has never had an accident on the bed or fallen off or been rolled over on. TJ has had two accidents on my bed, but I have a mattress protector on my bed for him. He lays up against the wall and I lay next to him. I can't really roll over on him and he can't fall off because he's scoots as close as possible to the wall. |

				 | When we first brought Macy home she slept in the crate until she was old enough to get up on and off the bed herself and was potty trained. She now sleeps either cuddled with me or my hubby. I sleep on my side and she likes to lay ontop of me. I guess that must be to show me who is the boss!!!! She isn't allowed upstairs to the kids rooms so I am not sure if she would sleep with them or not. My kids rooms and Macys vaccum mouth don't mix!

				 | Starsky sleeps with us! It's like we can't sleep unless he is with us. He usually sleeps on top of me or in between my legs! It is very difficult to roll over with him. He does have his nights where he isn't ready for bed and he wants to play. That is always a pain!

				 | Pixie hasn't slept with us at all since we got her.... Until this past Friday night that is! I was too afraid of squashing her or accidents in the bed, but we've had neither. I think she slept better with me than when we keep her in the kennel all night. She actually woke me up this morning because she had to go potty and didn't want to do it in bed. I'm so proud of her! |

				 | Isabella has always slept with us. We tried crate training her and having sleep in the crate at night...but that did not work. These little guys like to be close to a warm body at night! I now need her in my arms to fall asleep at night...sort of like a teddy bear!! She already dominates our lives, so the sleeping in the bed did not change anything!
