| Not crying... It's 9:43, I'm in my living room in the dark watching tv and Cerulean is clear across the room in the foyer where his ex pen is, in his crate...not crying. Is it possible my puppy is truly that easy??? I honestly think he's dead tired from all the excitement today. I read that puppies sleep up to 15 hours a day which means he has some making up to do. |

| Kyra was like that, I would go check to make sure she was breathing just like I used to with my kids lol. My DH would say just leave her alone she is fine, but Laddy never did that so I was a little nervous having such a good puppy.

| Think I'll sleep on the couch in case he wakes up and cries. I don't think I'd be able to hear him from my room. |

| Wall-e didn't cry the first night we had him either. I like to think he was already happy and comfortable enough with us that he didn't feel the need to cry.

| I did the same with Max! I think the reason he didn't cry was he was either in my arms, or in his bed under my chair, or in his xpen next to my bed which I put on the floor -- so we slept nose to nose.

| In my opinion you should have the crate in your bedroom where he can see you. It can be really scary for a puppy who was just taken from his mom and siblings to all of a sudden be alone in a crate in a room all by themselves. Does he have a potty pad in there? What happens if he wakes up an needs to go potty?

| yorkiefan not nice hahaha! I did end up bringing his crate (carrier) upstairs along with a potty pad that I put in my bathroom. He woke me up a few minutes ago, I put him on his pad, he peed and now he's back in his bed crying. Well he actually just stopped...I have four kids so not giving into the crying was easy. I'm going back to sleep! |
