| Welcome. When I got Gizmo I hadn't heard of the doggie apartment yet and I did the same thing inside his crate. I put a pee pad on one half and his blanket on the other half. Since he was 8 weeks he never went on his blanket. He took to the pee pad instantly then I moved it outside his crate and then into the bathroom. He's 6 months old now and still has accidents every once in a while but only with pee. He always goes to his pad to poop. He recently started pulling and playing with his pee pad so I bought the ones with adhesive on the corners but he was still able to pull them into the dining room so.... I outsmarted him by actually taping the sides completely with scotch tape. However if I miss one piece of the pad's edge he will find it and then game on! |
