| Senior Yorkie Talker | Ok I'm glad you're telling me that. I'm getting a DNA test just to make sure. |

| Senior Yorkie Talker | Hummm interesting information. Thanks. I definitely wanted a smaller size, but he's still my little baby, so I'm happy regardless. He is a cutie, and gets so many compliments. No matter what getting him was well worth it. |

| Senior Yorkie Talker | It seems like your baby is not going to get any bigger than 7 to 8 pounds due to the age she is now. Even though some get bigger when they get closer to a year. Only time will tell. Good luck with your little baby. |

| YT 500 Club Member | Now I'm not so worried. The breeder I got my yorkie from told me she would be 3-5 lbs and she was Aldo the runt of the litter. She just turned 4 months and she's 5.5lbs already...her papers say she's pure bred but those papers are only as reliable as the people who submitted the info. |

| Senior Yorkie Talker | I understand. It seems as though your baby is going to get a little bit bigger. Some breeders think that, because it is the runt in the litter that the puppy is going to stay small. If you didn't see both parents on site there is a possibility your puppy is going to be a little bigger due to your babies size now. It's hard to say what size any yorkie is really going to be unless both parents are really small, and you know for a fact they are the parents. Some yorkies have hearty appetites and tend to put on weight easily. As in humans, being overweight can cause health problems in yorkies. If you pick a yorkie that's prone to packing on pounds, you'll need to limit treats, make sure your baby gets enough exercise, and measure out your yorkies daily kibble in regular meals rather than leaving food out all the time. |
