Tacky or Not So would it be tacky of me to put my yorkie in a poodle skirt or dress. My husband said its an insult to her. I said no its not. We own a 50's diner and we wear poodle skirts and she comes to work with me so she should have one as well. What do you all think

Strudel actually brings his choice of outfit to me to put on him, so I feel like your DH could be wrong in thinking that it degrades the dog. Totally not tacky and if she loves it, do it

Thanks for your input! Izzy has about 20 different outifts so far. I cant help myself when I find cute things for her. She is alittle on the long side so I have to buy the XS for her length but she really needs the XXS everywhere else. She only weighs 3.5 lbs

I like the idea, and I find it cute. Can you share some pictures of your dog in a poodle skirt? Dressing up the dog makes the outing more fun. It's innocent fun and makes the place more memorable.

I wouldn't do it(put a dress on) with my dog but he's a boy! Yours, it's a YORKIE! Have fun, dress her up! Especially in your case, if the dog dresses in your diner attire, some accountant some where is gonna say it's a write off... advertising if nothing else! LOL

| You definitely need to get a least one poodle skirt for her or LOL maybe even several. One of the first dresses I ever got for Lola was a 50's style poodle dress. Here she is wearing it when she was a puppy

It's not tacky at all, it would look very cute especially with the theme of your diner. I don't think your baby will have anything against a poodle, lol.
