oh my I could scream right now. I asked this owner to please not give their dog away for free...havent you heard of puppy doe or micheal vick?? they respond get a life. I respond I have one. I am not trying to be mean or rude just trying to spread awareness. response was people like you need to mind your own business my response people like you shouldnt own a dog. and I attached an article on bait dogs. Still responding with nasty comments. like really and I'm the bad person. unreal.....errrrrrrrr.

you can't get angry with ignorant ppl, look at his ad, they are moving and can't take the dog!!! Just shows what type of person this is and how much he cares for animals, all he wanted to do was just get RID of the dog. I don't move unless my dog comes with me. That is how I came to be in Pa. I formally lived in NY, The Bronx, lived in a pvt. house for 22 years,owner was selling the house, new owner wanted my apt. for his family, so I had to move. No one in my area would rent to me because I had 2 yorkies. So I bought this house and moved me and my 2 babies here to Pa. I was NOT going to get rid of, re-home or put my babies down just because my living situation had changed. It's upsetting to see ppl like this, but no sense getting upset over something you cannot control. This goes on and will continue to happen when you have ppl that have a dog for what ever reason other then to love it. Take a deep breath, have a cup of tea or coffee, please calm down. Not everyone that owns a dog loves them as us YT members do, sad, but true.

I know it just makes me really sad. I have to stop looking on CL ...there is nothing I can do to help these poor babies.

what makes this even sadder is that breed of dog should not just be given to anyone, from what I read in the past these dogs can be dog aggressive and should not be in homes with other small dogs or children and it take a strong hand in training it.

They would be better to have contacted their breeder or a breed rescue if they could not longer keep it.

gezzzz,I HATE to pour salt on an open wound, BUT, dogs that size are used as bate for training pit bull for fighting. Thats not to say thats what the adopter will do with it. Thats more concern to me, if dog is child aggressive it can be re-homed with family that have no small children... contact breeder??? lol, this is most likely a backyard breeder, I agree on a breed rescue, or a fee for re-homing in hopes if someone has to spend a few bucks on a dog they will not use it as bate, which, also it not always true. Trying to guesstimate the future of dogs like this!!!!! I just hope this poor dog does go to a loving family.

Generally if someone is giving a dog away just because they are moving they probably don't care much about that dog anyway. Sure hope the guy gets lucky and gets a good family.

hahaha. I usually look daily while enjoying my breakfast or lunch at work. my thought was to try and spread awareness but I just end up heartbroken.

true and I pray he finds a good home also. if nothing else comes of it at least we have a pray circle going to hopefully send him in a positive direction.

I think we should ALL look daily in our own areas and see what we can do. I would offer to pick up this dog and see that it gets to the proper rescue group if I could.
