I just checked the ingredients used in Vetericyn. It is basically an antibacterial bleach solution which will not help an allergic reaction.

Does the skin under the arm look alligator-ish? Or a bit bumpy, but no color to the bumps? Check around the very edges of his ears... do you see any white flakes concentrated there? Does the itch keep him awake at night?
