| Is this normal behavior? Hi, Well, Mike is usually a very obedient and well behaved puppy, but there is something that he does that I am not really sure if is something I need to correct or is normal behavior for this breed. Let me tell you about it really quick: He loves to run around and play with his toys and trash them all over the place like any other healthy puppy, but..... every time he starts playing with a stuffed animal toy he attempts to mate with it . Is not this behavior too early for his age? he is 3 months and a week old now, but he started doing it since he was 2 months old. I did a little video with a little of humor on it, but in reality I do really would like to know if is normal or not. Caution it is a little graphic so if you get offended easily don't watch it. Thank you. |

| Yes it is normal but if you don't want this behavior to continue all his life then take the toy and give a mild correction each time. It doesn't take them long to understand that the behavior is not acceptable.

| Ok, That is what I thought, but i didn't want to correct it before asking here where there is so much knowledge about the breed. Now that I know I will watch him and correct as needed. |

Yorkie Yakker | Mike is ADORABLE!!! I had a female puppy that continued to do that into adulthood!! Yes, a female - but she wasn't a Yorkie! I thought just males did that but I was wrong.. Cute little Mike! |

| Bella did that until she was spayed, and then she stopped. I'm not sure whether males continue to do that after they're fixed. |

| Yes it is normal And some puppies start doing it at a very early age Because in dogs this humping behavior has to do more with possession than anything sexual

| The death metal music is such a funny touch! .. hahaha. I've only had female dogs and thankfully none have been bumpers. I couldn't deal if they did, haha. |
