Yorkie Yakker | ![]() First - Paci is completely healthy ![]() ![]() Additionally, I adore my veterinarian ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() She broke it down after my 20th question - when I asked if I needed to see a "food specialist" about Paci's dog food, (she finally allowed herself to laugh) and said "Remember, Paci is an animal, not a human! You have 5 kids, you do your best to give Paci a balanced diet just as you do your kids. There are days I feed my kids fast food but I do my best to provide a healthy diet for them and I'm sure you do the same. Do the same for Paci." I felt 100 lbs lighter after that talk!! I understood that language. One of the assistants that works at the clinic breeds Yorkies!! She was a wealth of information as well! What a Blessing ![]() At 10 and a half weeks Paci is 2.5 lbs and she said she expects her grow to be 5lbs, no more than 5 1/2 lbs, which is exactly what the breeder I bought Paci from told me ![]() |

| ![]() happy to hear Paci got a clean bill of health, and you are more relaxed, and no so scared about making the wrong choice in getting a yorkie. Yorkies are amazing lil imps, little clowns, love to please, and LOVE getting into mischief. They are energetic, need plenty of exercise, toys to tire these lil critter's. You will adore your lil yorkie. You have an amazing breed there.

Yorkie Yakker | ![]() I'm thrilled to have her!! I was afraid of doing something "wrong"! There's a lot of "debate" on some issues in regards to Yorkies that people are passionate about. I was clueless until I joined YorkieTalk that those issues existed. After my talk with my vet, I realized its like having a child - some parents are passionate about nursing, making their own baby food, using cloth diapers, for or against vaccinations, home schooling, etc... Regardless - ALL OF THESE PASSIONATE PARENTS LOVE THEIR CHILDREN and are doing what they think is best for them. Right?! So I've chilled out and can't wait to learn from all of you! Just hope that I can be forgiven if I ask a question that's been asked over and over again. It's a little overwhelming for a Newbie to search through the threads for the topic/question LOL! |
