| Pet Sense store? I am familiar with Petsmart and Petco, but had never heard of Pet Sense before a couple of weeks ago. They have built one 5 minutes from my house in Ft Oglethorpe Ga but it isn't open yet-projected for March. Anyone have any experience with them? Do they seem comparable to Petsmart? I currently have to drive to Chattanooga to buy dog food, since the Tractor Supply feed store near me carries Blue Buffalo, but not the BB Freedom, which is all Huey can eat. From the website, it looks like Pet Sense will carry BB & I hope they have Freedom. I have only been in Petco once, and I didn't like it nearly as well as Petsmart. It will be really nice having a pet store close to my house, as I hate to drive the whole 25-30 minutes to Petsmart in Chattanooga, braving the terrible Mall traffic!

| We have one in granbury, but that's over an hour away from me, so I haven't been. I prefer canine commissary, but go to petsmart too. I don't care for petco at all. I feed BB (I can't remember off the top of my head) and wellness simple.

| BB basics. Does your dog eat the life source bits?? Allie spits them out. Noah and Westley come behind her and eat them, but I just find it funny that she spits them out.

| Never heard of Pet Sense... But we have Pet Supplies Plus. I think they only have it in East Coast. The stores isn't as big as PetSmart/Petco but I think they carry more of mid-high quality brands/supplies. |

| Not just the East Coast, we have Pet Supply Plus in TX. Their customer service is amazing!! Other retailers could take a lesson from them. As for Pet Sense, McheleM if it's the place I'm thinking of in Granbury, they sell puppies & kittens and I wouldn't shop there. Made my SIL a little miffed at me that I wouldn't even go in the place with her, but I refuse to support those stores that sell pets. I have trouble enough buying things at PetSmart & PetCo because of the rodent pets they sell.

| Yeah, we have a pet supply plus near me. I still prefer my canine commissary. I didn't like pets supply plus.... Not sure why, just didn't care for it. Definitely won't be going to pet sense in granbury then, if they sell puppies and kittens!!

| Petsense Hey Huey's Mom! We are now open in Ft. O, and we do carry the Blue Freedom. I hope we see you soon! TeresaM and McheleM, we do not sell puppies or kittens. We have cats for adoption, the same way Petsmart and PETCO do, but all we do is provide the space, the local rescue group handles the actual adoptions. I hope we will see you all soon if you are near one of our stores! |

| We have a Petsense in Rome. I have visited the store on a couple ofl occasions. The prices seemed reasonable, but the TOTW I feed is still cheaper at Tractor Supply. The store personnel were polite and helpful, but the store was almost void of customers every time I've visited. I don't know how much longer they will survive in Rome. The last time I went I took Lacie to help get her used to being out and around other people and dogs -- there were only two other dogs there and one left just as I went in. The other dog there was a beautiful young GS. I wanted to call the cops on his owner - a mean little dude who was yelling at the dog and threatening to hit him/her. There were two kids sitting on the floor in front of the store that looked none too happy - I'm afraid they belonged to the GS' dad. I was very disappointed that the store employees didn't say something to the GS owner or ask him to leave. I didn't stay long and I don't think I'll be returning any time soon. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | There is a place is NJ called Pet Goods. They are really expensive. I do not know how the stay in business. It is like PetSmart size. I saw a little fleece jacket for Galen, and you know how little he is, for $65. It was plain fleece with Velcro. I can find at one of the other pet places for about $16.
